A Q&A with Nishan:
1. What do you hope to bring to 365 Technologies?
To work with our clients of all sizes on their Cloud-migration journey by providing my expertise knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Cloud solutions, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business and Microsoft Teams.
2. When people ask you – “What’s the Cloud?” – what do you tell them?
This can mean many things based on who is asking and their purpose. In general, it’s a large collection of servers running in a massive data centre with ability to pool resources on-demand for computing needs. For a small business, the Cloud offers opportunities to move their workloads from on-premise servers to hosted solutions.
3. What’s one piece of advice you’d give a business that wants to move to the Cloud?
Take small steps first. Start with a proof of concept or pilot project to get comfortable with what it means to be “in the Cloud.”
4. What are the advantages to a business moving to the Cloud?
The primary advantages are data accessibility, improved collaboration, data security and recovery.
