We’ve got Spirit

On March 2nd, 365 was honoured to be recognized as a finalist in the startup business category at the 2012 Spirit of Winnipeg Awards.

The awards, put on by the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, recognize innovation in business across six different categories.  The awards gala was top-notch, and it was exciting to hear all of the great stories coming out of Winnipeg’s diverse business community.

From the outset, 365 committed itself to a full fixed fee pricing model in an industry that has been built on billable hours. Successful support companies in Winnipeg and elsewhere had set performance metrics and compensation plans around technician billable time, but 365 saw a model that favoured service providers, and tied revenues to customer technology breakdowns. By offering a unique fixed fee service, 365 shifts the performance risk from the customer back to the service provider, and establishes shared goals of network reliability and stability. This is further reinforced by making all service agreements month-to-month, sacrificing business valuation for the belief that true customer retention and loyalty is built through superior customer service.
